Donate Your Shot Glass Collection
Have one glass, an inherited collection, or shelves you are ready to pass along? I would like to hear about them and explain what donating to the archive could look like.
I inherited a modest collection from my father and grew it from roughly 500 shot glasses into the 9,670-glass collection certified by Guinness World Records.
That is why donated pieces matter here. They are not just volume. They carry the trip, the bar, the team, or the person they came from, and that context is usually the first thing lost when a collection gets split up or sold off.
One glass can be worth asking about. So can a shelf of favorites from years of travel, or a full inherited collection still sitting in boxes in a basement.

The process
How this usually works
Step 1
Send a quick note
Email me with a rough idea of what you have — roughly how many pieces, and where they came from if you happen to know.
Step 2
Share a photo or two
A phone photo of the shelf or the open box tells me more than a list does. No inventory or cataloguing needed on your end.
Step 3
Talk it through
I will reply and tell you honestly whether the pieces are a fit for the archive, and what would happen to them if they are.
Step 4
Sort out the details together
If it makes sense on both sides, we work out the handoff from there. Nothing is settled before that conversation.

Your call, not ours
You choose what gets shared
You decide whether your name, your family's name, or the story behind the glasses appears anywhere on this site. Anonymous is a completely normal answer.
Your contact details stay private
Your email address and mailing address will not appear in public content without your permission. They are used to communicate with you about the glasses and arrange an agreed handoff.
No obligation either way
Asking about a donation does not commit you to anything, and nobody will chase you if you decide to keep the collection after all.
