Washington Apple Shot
A crisp red shot built around whiskey, sour apple, and cranberry. The appeal is balance: enough fruit to feel bright, enough whiskey to give it backbone, and enough color to look great in a clear glass. It is especially good for game nights, home-bar tastings, and fall gatherings.

- Apple, cranberry, lightly tart
- Glassware
- Standard shot glass
Ingredients
- 1/2 oz Canadian whisky
- 1/2 oz sour apple schnapps
- 1/2 oz cranberry juice
Equipment
cocktail shaker
jigger
strainer
shot glass
Instructions
- Shake all ingredients with ice.
- Strain into a chilled shot glass.
- Garnish with a tiny apple slice if desired.
